SUGO skt 478 cpu cooler?

Evening all

Just stripped all the WC out of me sugo! just put on the original heatsink and fan for me cpu, and turned it down and the fan makes a really annoying ticking sound. I was looking at the Zalman CNPS8000 and thought Oooo i like that but then see it don't support skt 478 :rolleyes:

So what is the best cooler I can get? I'm assuming its one of them flower ones by zalmen! if so what size one?

A Zalman CNPS7000b probably. They're very good coolers.

thanks for that.....wasnt sure if a 92mm one would fit in, but I guess they do

Silverstone's own Nitrogon NT-01 and NT-03 coolers fit fine. Also, have a look at Thermaltake's Golden, Blue and Ruby Orbs. They also all fit fine. The Arctic Cooling Silent 4 is a very good cooler for £6 if you're looking for a cheap replacement.

Thanks for the replys...I bought the Zalman CNPS8000....Look forward to getting it. Must also say im surprised at how cool the case has stayed and also im pleased with the temps of the cpu/gpu. I found that the northbridge was responsible for so much heat in there so I put a 40mm fan ontop of it and 5v it and its keeping it lovely and cool

The CNPS8000 is a fantastic cooler.
