getting about 45'c on the cpu and up to 50'c on the NB idle.....

i've changed the back fan to blow in and the hard disk one is sucking out.

i'm going to get another fan to go in the middle....but need it to be silent.

what are people getting?

Whats your system specs ?

My cpu idles at around 37-39, mobo 39-41, old x1900xtx 48, new card 8800gts 51.

All the fans on the left are sucking in(3 low speed panaflo fans) and 2 fans on the right blowing out (psu and sliverstone crossflow fan)

for the right fan setup Reality Bites you should have the back fan
pushing out hot air. hdd cage fan should be pushing air over the hdds

and if your using the top fan you could have it pushing in or out
depending on what you have in your system.

in my sugo i just use the hdd fan and the back fan

my temps are

idle: 25 to 30
load: 41

max ive seen my system on load was 45 but that was in
the summer time when i was playing games

concerned over my temps.

I can change the HDD cage fan.....i didn't realise there was only a couple of inches gap between the edge of the case and the HDD cage. Thought it would blow hot air into the case.

The back fan is blowing air in and the middle section hasn't got a fan yet.

The NB temps dropped 7-8'c by having the back fan blowing in.

i must say, your build looks amazing.

I think i need a modular PSU....got cables everywhere from my seasonic.

I think another fan on the left will help things.

Also, i've got a silverstone CPU cooler which is fanless.....won't help NB temps but the cooler is cold to touch?

I've got both top fans to suck air in.

The X1950XTX exhausts air out the back, so I need a good supply of air to the fan - it's a hot running card, despite the cooler. Around 55-60 idle, and up to 90 load.

CPU runs 30-40 idle, depending on room temperature, and 45-50 at load.

I've also got the crossflow fan in, and i've tried having the HDD cage in and out, and I prefer it with the HDD in the bottom 5.25" bay and the cage removed entirely. It makes very little difference to the temps, if anything it helps them, and there's a lot more room to work with cables.

Whatever you do though, don't put any Akasa Amber fans in this case. I have one, and it's a rattly little sod, makes a hell of a lot of noise and doesn't really help temperatures at all. Going to be swapping it out for a quieter one soon. The Crossflow fan isn't close to silent either.
