suit shopping in Birmingham on a £200 budget

no, it's not another "spec me" thread...heaven forbid. im off suit shopping in Birmingham this weekend, and i just realised that i only know of River Island for buying suits in this price range

i cant wear topman clothes because they dont fit properly and always make me feel uncomfortable.

if anyone knows of any shops in the center of birmingham that do suits in that price range, or maybe even a little more (for a suit that i really like, i'd be willing to stretch a little (to £250 - £300 at the very most!)

so yeah. any recommendations would be tip top. please dont waste your time recommending etailers or people out of my price range

Slaters Menswear are pretty good for off the shelf stuff.. they're quite friendly and usually willing to help / advise

The man speaks the truth, I've had a couple of cracking Baumler suits from Slater's for about £180 a time - they look good, fit well and most importantly last well.

Hey just saw this thread!

I was on the look out for a new suit (getting married in April) and was in Brum with the missus. Have to say ended up in Slaters and the service was next to nothing, top notch!

Picked up two Ted Baker suits for £350, and had the trousers fitted there and then for free.

So another vote for Slaters.

I went into the Slaters in worcester today, its a pretty good and cheap place for formal wear, pure silk ties were only £6, ok so they are a no brand job but everybit as good as the rest of the high st stuff.YSL shirts for £20 odd.

The designer suits are very well priced the ted baker stuff is really nice for the money.

Slaters are prolly your best bet, then next and then debenhams.
