Suitable mobo for this graphics card?

Hi all,
I was just wondering if this is a suitable motherboard/gaphics combination? Will i get all the benefits from the cad etc.. ? Thanks!

Asus ATI Radeon HD 4850 1024MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI/HDMI (PCI-Express) - Retail (£164.49)

Its for use with a c2d E8500 3.16ghz processor.

Yes. Might want to consider a full P45 chipset though, as it gives you the option of Crossfire later... otherwise that is perfectly fine.

Crossfire? Is that where you link 2 cards together?
