Suitable paint for a case?

I'm considering painting my CM Elite 130 white and wondering what would be a good paint to use.

For the plastic parts I plan to use vinyl dye but I don't think this will work on the majority of the case (the metal parts) so what's a good paint/primer if needed?

Also I'd rather avoid plastidip.

just use Etch Primer and normal car paint!

You can also use enamel paint if you want a more glossy look.

Plastidip is way too expensive IMHO
