Sully (2016)

Clint Easwood directs Tom Hanks in the story of Capt. Sullenberger's forced landing on the Hudson and the subsequent investigation where they try to screw him over.

Looks pretty good, and to be honest you can't really go wrong with that pairing of director and lead actor.

I remember seeing the story of the landing but don't much about the investigation and attempted screwing over so going to be an interesting watch. Also can't go wrong with Eastwood and Hanks so should be well directed / acted if nothing else.

They didn't. But Eastwood is fairly Right Wing so has to make government look bad.

Just watched this on Netflix. The water landing itself is brilliantly done - absolutely chilling. Brilliant film.
