Hello,

Okey so I woke up this morning switched my pc on as usual, everything whirls up but no *beep* and no signal on the screen??

Last night whilst playing Eve Online, I was noticing graphical glitches, then my screen came up saying no signal, so I restarted and everything was back to normal, thought no more of it. Finnished up, shut down and went to sleep.

I did actually run through the reporting service to MS and it came back with a video driver error.

Everything spins up (all fans, pump and Hdd's) but no post, *beep and image on screen.

The only thing I can think of doing right now is to remove the battery and reseat the hardware.

I'm at work 'till 4 now so can't check anything but am open to offers.

Any ideas fellas?

CPU: E6600
Memory: GeIL 2GB PC6400 DDR2
HDD: Raptor 74 GB & Barracuda 200GB (Mounted in cooling cases)
GFX: X1950 XT-X
Sound: X-Fi Xtreme Music
PSU: OCZ GameXStream 700w

Running the Swiftech Water Cooling kit ultra. All stock speeds.

Sounds like the graphics card has failed, sorry to say, if you have another, try swapping them over and boot, if you dont, try reseating the vga card.

Hello,

I 700W Power Supply should be enough to handle that system right? including a water pump and 3 120mm fans?

unplug the gfx card and all pci cards and see if you get a beep. then try plugging each card back in one by one. do this with usb devices too. trial and error

Okey so I found out what the problem was, turns out my computer had a second reservoir that it was using that I was not aware of

would explain why I was getting graphical glitches!

Bets on whether it still works or not

, tube to the cpu had come loose!! and was dripping onto the gfx, time see what else is wet

Would you believe it, the gfx card still works!!!! :eek:

, just running check disk atm as it will boot in safe mode but after going through the windows loading screen it hangs after that.

Hopefully I just saved myself £400

I had my trainers on and car keys at the ready as well!
