So i was wondering what peeps are getting during this heatwave (that is about to get much worse 33c+). What is your before and after gaming ambient room and case temps. Also for those running customs loops like myself. What's your coolant temps before and after a heavy gaming session (2+ hours). Also what's the temp outside as that can affect ambient room temps. I'll start This off:

Before:
Outside 12.30pm - 26c
Ambient Room - 28c
Case (system/mobo Sensor) - 35.5c
Water temp - 32c

After:
Outside 2.30pm - 28c
Ambient Room - 31c
Case (system/mobo Sensor) - 39.5c
Water temp - 40.1c

In my case I get I think about 66c max in a gaming session - with fans not at maximum in autumn/winter.
Now with the heat I maxxed out 77-78c gaming last night with dark rock fan maxxed out or near to. Ambient in the 80s Fahrenheit.

Once gaming session finishes cpu is at 48ish just browsing.

Currently and I'm basically just idling... taken from hwmonitor

Outside - 27c
Inside office - no idea but quite a bit hotter than outside.
CPU idle - 43c (about 10c higher than normal)
CPU 100% load - 75-80c (5950x 360mm aio)
CPU gaming - around 65-70c but nothing too heavy
Sys - 45c
MOS - 38c
Chipset - 48c

Admittedly my case is running without the side on (waiting on new fans) and likely isn't getting the airflow it should have.

toasty but safe for the summer

with the side off your temps may in fact have dropped a little as the ambient room temp would be close to case temp. you cpu is at 75-80c at 100% load using what stress test? also was your 5950x overclocked?

Yeah I know it's safe etc but air flowing over the passively cooled motherboard chipset/mosfets is missing so things like the sys/mos temps are likely a little higher than they could be (sys and mos are roughly 10c lower this morning while room is cooler).

No overclocking, I haven't got round to pbo etc (on the agenda when I get the case fans and cooler temps :)) yet and 100% load was encoding/rendering so all cores.

still them temps are not bad for the summer :)

I'm very confused, what ambient temperature is in the 80s

Tomorrow will be interesting when we hit the high 30's, i know Ambient room temps will be killer and will need to keep a close eye on water temps especially those using PETG tubing! Watch out for melting tubes...

Was a very hot day for all and tomorrow 1-2c warmer :(

Before:
Outside 1.30pm - 36c
Ambient Room - 31.5c
Case (system/mobo Sensor) - 39.5c
Water temp - 34.7c

After:
Outside 2.30pm - 38c
Ambient Room - 34.5c
Case (system/mobo Sensor) - 44.5c
Water temp - 42.2c

I'm on air, but ambient has been as high as 36C for us here, proper gopping and muggy, pc just sat here browsing the web and watching movies has been 41 - 44c system and 38-41c CPU (not monitored in games, but it's not beeped or choked), actually pretty surprised how good a job it's been doing as i've not stripped and cleaned it for over a year (it's due a service tbh).

Gonna be another corker tomorrow, brance yourselves!

Just idling... taken from hwmonitor, still with case panels off and extra fans not installed, they're here but I didn't feel like playing around with them in this heat.

Outside - no idea but it's hot lol
Inside office - 34c with 2 fans going lol
CPU idle - 47c (about 15c higher than normal)
CPU 100% load - yeah I'm not doing that today.....
CPU gaming - not unless it cools down some
Sys - 41c (strangely cooler but might be the room fans)
MOS - 38c
Chipset - 41c (again cooler but might be the room fans)

CPU is toasty for idle so yeah no need to 100% load that thing. Others temp not bad.
CPU has hit 85c
GPU 83.2; hot spot 94.2

Cookin'
That is cooking big time. However it's going to be 25c tomorrow so far cooler and far more pleasant for summer. Our gaming rooms will be thanking mother nature for a little cooler weather.

Actually just did a quick 'stress test' benchmark from cpu-z and my temps topped out at 70c. I'd expect it to go higher if I left it longer and I've seen higher temps on cooler days so I'm guessing my cpu/cooler etc is just in that spot where I either need more fan speed to compensate for the heat, they're running pretty low speeds (pwm curve) at 1200rpm (max 2600)... will play around with the bios fan curves a little when I get the new fans installed.

My rooms 35c on my thermometer

D15 cooler seems to be doing it's job though :)

My GPU is sitting at 45c I'm scared to game
