Looks good, there isn't much i'd change. I do like the Gigabyte motherboard I have, so I might be tempted to go for one of the new P35 ones, but other then that, looks fine :)

The case I might change, I do have the Antec 900 myself, but on reflection i'd maybe go for something a bit more classy and understated. It has great cooling, but it's a little bit tacky.

Cheers

Thanks for the feedback mate :)

I've heard great things about the P5B deluxe, but I'm flexible if it means a better system. I'm experimenting with the Antec 900 - It looks great from a cooling point of view (I will be overclocking) but if I do find it a bit cheesy, then I can hopefully revert back to using my Lian Li PC7.

Same with the mouse - I currently have a G5 so if I don't like the new style I can always switch back.

i had a 900 its a hoover for dust it needs wiping down all the time and cleaning out

any reason you didnt get a p35 board? the fsb goes a lot higher and is a lot better if you go quad

Is that the general consensus - the p35 over the p5b?

Right the P35 is the name of the New chipset boards, which support Intels upcoming Penryn Processors.

The P5B is the actual name of a motherboard which belong to the 965p Chipset group.

If your going to get a motherboard go for one of the P35 boards.

Thanks for that stickroad, do you have any suggestions?

Decent spec there, although I heard the Crucial RAM was better generally.
I've actually got a PC-7 with my current build - I love the build quality but I was thinking of trying the Antec 900 for cooling reasons (3* 120mm fans + 1* 200mm fan).

I was thinking that if I didn't like it I can always flog it on fleabay and go back to my pc-7.

The Cellshock is top notch stuff and along with the fact that lately theirs been a few problems with the Crucial sticks.

You wont get much better Memory than that Cellshock RAM.

Sounds good, I'll stick that in and take the Crucial RAM out.

Loose the gamers keyboard and get a nice looking case, PS/2 Keyboards own, i only have to type lol to turn my computer on =).

plus do you think you will ever use the little screen, rather pointless imo just another gimmicky keyboard, maybe the saitek eclipse keyboard is nice because of the backlit lights but im guessing you have lights in your room.

The keyboard I've chosen in the final spec is the Razer Tarantula - which looks pretty decent. I have a G15 at the moment - but it's getting on a bit and I don't even use the screen. I was going to just buy a G11 as originally spec'd but I'm starting to like the look of the Tarantula instead now.

EDIT: Oh and I also have a Lian Li PC7 as backup if I don't like the Antec Nine Hundred.
