i know this might be a silly question but this is my 1st overclocked pc and was wondering how people keep temps in check when the summer comes and the air around pc is warmer.
LoL ye its getting worse less and less days of hot weather each year....but it would not suprise me if we have the hotest/longest summer on record the way the weather has been lately....hopefuly i will have my watercooled i7 by the summer if not guess i may have to down clock if i cant keep temps low enough
Spend £1500 getting the room you have your PC in air conditioned properly and you'll get quieter running, higher overclocks and more comfortable environment to be in, for every PC you build from now on. Getting AC in my home office was the best money I ever spent on performance computing.
Hopefully ill be rid of this q6600 before summer, it runs at 68'c at full load, my gtx 280 after a lot of gaming never goes above 60, hope to have a q9550 before summer.
