Ok, the summer is approaching and I want to be ready for this years infestation of thunderflies/bugs.
They are tiny black flies a few mm in length which get everywhere, maybe a week or two weeks in the summer we tend to get infested with them in East Yorkshire.
Last year, 1 decided to die behind my Viewsonic VX910 screen and believe me, the size of it, its worse than a cluster of dead pixels. Thankfully it was very close to the bottom of the panel. One mate of mine had litrally hundreds die inside his LCD TV, luckily for him the retailer saw how bad it was and replaced it but I am sure many companies just disregard the issue.
What's the best defence at stopping these little blighters getting into LCD flat panels and dying causing untold grief to hundreds of owners?
Now I have my shiny new Dell 2407WFP I seriously don't want them dying behind the panel on this.
Is it just a case of locking the room down and covering the panel with something?

At work with the windows open we had loads behind the screens, but managed not to get any on mine at home as the room it's in never had the window open and it's a long way from the door which is sometimes open (if that makes sense).
