ok iv really just thaught oh no about this, i have 8 blue neons and 9x 12cm blue led fans in my case and theres not a single bit of mesh or anything to stop things going inside my case

iv removed every bit of mesh or grill possible to just let 100% air get inside it

O.O!!!!

If you stick a shopping trolley handle to the back of it and buy yourself a burberry cap you should be ok.

I had a house spider crawl up my cabling once...I had it all cable zipped and it decided to use that as access to my desk (by hiding inside)...I chased the blooming thing out and I almost screamed when it darted out onto the desk :D

I'm lucky here near the seaside we don't get those tiny winy flies...we do get a flying ant (queen) outbreak tho and they are horrid things

I suppose turning down the brightness and using an UV zapper light would do the trick to distract them

I HATE insects. I'd vote for any political party that would go ahead and kill the plannet and 90%+ of the population by using the quantity of pestiside it would take to erradicate the menice once and for all.

Reading this thread makes me itch! I'm so glad I have a CRT, I hope it's killed a few of the blighters.

i have the problem with loads of moths!

last year killed atleast 30 ended up having to paint my room cos there was so many marks where they went splat on the walls.

what would be realy cool would be 1 of them blue light things which gives off how many it has killed with a small cable to the pc

would realy suck having a small bug in the monitor, i get annoyed when flys land on it and i got the lights off so they go to the monitor cos they like the light.
good thing about having a laptop is u can just close the lid and it will go splat

anyway, u could try putting some bug killer around the stand of the monitor? unless the bugs have wings?

I know their only insects but surely if you closed your windows at night or didn't have the light on you'd save yourself and the moths a lot of grief?

I still have a thunderfly stuck in my 2407fpw from last summer :(
Might try taping around the edge this summer.
