Summer Transfer Window 2021/2022

United finished 5 points ahead of us. 5 points.

United checked out of the season in March after basically securing 2nd place,

They was miles ahead of Liverpool and decided to take it easy in there last few games whilst Liverpool had everything to play for to get top 4 finish.

Throughout the season you was nowhere close to united . Liverpool where already out of teh title race by November

What a load of nonsense, Neville was always harping on about finishing the season strong and keeping as close to city as possible. They checked out of the EL final, I’ll give that.

So would you risk chopping and changing managers again and finishing same level as arsenal? or keep what you have now and try to improve from 2nd to 1st?

Chelsea went from Lampard > Tuchel and the upgrade is massive.

A good coach/manager gets way more out of this squad than what Ole is getting. I’m sure Carragher said it on MNF and I agree with him, give either Klopp, pep and Tuchel and they are in for a shout of the title.

Arsenals issues aren't all Arteta. Arteta is probably a similar level of manager to Ole, perhaps slightly worse. We just have a way better squad than Arsenal and have done for a long time.

Thats the thing, Ole isn't a bad manager. Hes just not elite. With the players we have at United, I would like to think that any half decent manager who isn't toxic (basically Mourinho) would be able to get us top 4 relatively easily. We don't want top 4 though, we want the big trophies and Ole is never looking like being the guy to deliver that.

Hasn't Arteta just spent £130m on dross? Offered extended contracts to some of the worst players to ever put on an Arsenal shirt.

Clearly the players are not responding to Arteta, 3 games 0 points, 0 goals scored? New manager needed.

To be fair managers are rarely solely responsible for transfers or contracts any more. The whole setup seems pretty questionable.

Yeah is Edu the 3rd person we've brought in to do transfers? The last few seasons have been diabolical for new players and renewing contracts etc.

Mislintat, Sanehli and Edu. Mislintat was a proper football man, but clashed with the board, Sanehli was just interested in his own image and pocket. Edu is just clueless all round. Great player, but not a businessman and an absolute clown when you compare him to the transfer god that was David Dein.

Seems to be some talk in the press that Villa are readying a 15m bid for Curtis Jones. Cant see that happening, not after all the hype we've said about him.

The Martinez situation sums up Arsenal perfectly. Best keeper in the squad on the bench. Injury allows the gem to be discovered. Played a key part in them winning the FA cup and CS on pens. Leno comes back from injury and they decide to keep Leno whose garbage. Sell him for £20m then a season later pay £30m for a much worse keeper.

It’s mad. Arsenal fans must be fuming with what’s going on at the club.

Must be the worst possible start to a season for Arsenal fans, not only are they bottom of the league and havent yet scored a goal but to make matters worse Spurs are top of the league and the only team with a 100% record.

What sums up Arsenal is conceding a goal through a set piece header to a 5ft 11 Gundogan. That was just comical. That is mainly down to coaching as I fail to believe that Arsenal defenders are that bad.

It wasjust a bad decision from a player who missed the ball.

I've seen Messi score a header, you can't pin that on the coach of the player just miss times his jump or gets caught out if position for a second.
