Summer Transfer Window 2021/2022

Buendia's a very handy player. Arsenal losing out to Villa is a kick in the balls for them but from Villa's point of view, it doesn't half look like a Grealish replacement.
 
If Villa can do some smart business and sign Abraham for a decent fee thats good business for them.

According to another forum i read (RAWK) someone reported on the radio that Levy wants 200 mil for Kane.

Not a chance.
 
I wouldn’t have minded Buendia, but everyone knows our transfer budget isn’t great. It would have swallowed at least 40-50% of it

Well we need a quality CB, a solid midfielder, and I think we need another striker. Good backup for Tierney would be handy too as he suffers too many injuries.

I’d definitely like Bissouma.

Just remembered, another keeper as Ryan has left and Runarsson is beyond awful. He makes Karius look like Lev Yashin.
 
Well the Buendia to Villa story is a big disappoint for Arsenal.

I don't believe the story Sky Sports is reporting that we got out bid. 33 million is not expensive in today's market.

Something else is at play here.

I just hope Arsenal do know what their doing this summer as I thought Buendia was our top summer target.
 
It's very weird finally being part of this thread... :D

Anyway, another rumour is that we're after Josh King on a free. Imagine that... being denied a dream move (back) to Man Utd when youre bang in form, only to be relegated to the Championship... and then be signed by Brentford! hehe

I heard from someone I trust with this kind of info - he's only ever passed me 100% acurate stuff - but he'd heard that quite a few different sides were keen on Ivan Toney (on the basis that we didn't get promoted) but that the max Arsenal were wanting to pay was about half of what other sides were open to entertaining.

Make of that what you will, but might not be a big summer for Arsenal this year.
