Summer Transfer Window 2021/2022

Kane's going to City. Spurs will make him put in a transfer request, they'll tie a signing or two up and then accept £80m + 1 or 2 City players in exchange.
Can City afford him?

they just blew 100m on Grielehs.

Financial play anyone?

No way has city earned 200+m in profits during a pandemic for them to to use to buy players...

That harry kane statement lol

Was always planning to return to training this weekend?

or you mean you realise city have spent 100mill on grealish so your gonna be stuck at spurs

Not buying the Kane lies about returning to the club on Saturday instead of Monday. Spurs didn't deny the media reports once and why would Kane wait 5 days after all the hate to then clarify the situation. It's quite clear now that Kane will very likely be a spurs player this season.

First game of the season is Spurs vs City. Brilliant.

Of which he misses because he decided to go on the tower of terror a few more times

I don’t think Spurs should have let him put that statement out. Honestly, if I was Levy and my player was paid millions, but threw a strop and dodged work because he wanted to move, I’d tell him straight “No, you made your bed, now you can ******* lie in it!”

What makes you think Spurs gave him permission though? I mean hes just extended his leave so he misses a big big game.

So you think Spurs should just swallow it even though the statement is a big load of balls?

No I’m saying he’s just extended his leave without permission, why would you assume he’s asked?

I worded it badly tbf.

Aguero reportedly wants out now aswell

RE Spurs. They should be punishing him for sure. Made them look like idiots and missing a game. Whatever their max fine is

Good to see Messi is up for challenging himself by going to PSG.

Got to say i'm pretty gutted/annoyed that he's taking this dull boring easy route. Okay he's 34 and is descending down the hill but still is more than good enough to make a difference and have an actual challenge.

I guess this opens to the door for Mpabbe to move to Madrid.

Indeed, I know it’s a money thing really and I’d probably do the same. But it’s such a waste of footballers careers, I feel like that whenever someone goes to PSG, it’s just treading water for a few years, potentially in the prime of their career.
We need to see Mbappe in the PL at some point, it would be such a waste if it doesn’t happen eventually. Neymar can stay put though ;)

I will always rate Ronaldo above Messi just for the fact he challenges himself and drags teams across the finishing line in the league and internationally and I think this move Messi might make is highlighting that difference even further for me.

He joined United the summer after they had won the league for the 8th time in 12 years, he joined Real after they had won the league 2 out of the 3 previous seasons and he joined Juventus after they had won their 7th consecutive title. Not sure what your idea of dragging a team across the finishing line is but that looks very much like joining teams at the height of their success.

Lol and now Aguero wants out of this Barca contract….
Both him and Depay haven’t even been registered with La Liga as players yet because of Barca’s wage problems keeping under their limit. Messi not signing will help, but I think they need to sell first even still. Coutinho’s value has dropped like a stone and he’s on half a million euros no doubt. The whole club is in such a financial mess atm which is why they’re still clinging on to the hope that the ESL will happen. They need it.
