Summer Transfer Window 2021/2022

It wasn’t long ago you said Maguire was up there with Van Dijk when I called him a fridge…now you’re struggling with two slow cbs?

I never said his pace wasn't his weakness, not sure where you're pulling that from. Doesn't stop him being one of the best defenders in the world as he showed in the Euros (funnily all the haters went very quiet when he started doing it for England)

Well firstly he isn’t one of the best defenders inthe world but for arguments sake let’s go with it…if he is why do you have to sign a faster cb to compensate for the fact that he has a turning circle of a tank? If you need to sign a player because of another’s glaring weakness I.e their pace and positioning then he isn’t up there with the likes of Van Dijk.

That's the beauty of VVD, he has no weaknesses. He'll beat you in the air, in a foot race, he can pass the ball like Alonso, the hair, the stubble. What a guy!

Messi crying at his press conference because he won't accept a normal footballer's salary. aww diddums.
Lol what a proper cringe fest that was!

Gutted to be leaving, how about not asking for £100 million a year then? If he loved the club that much he'd take whatever paycut it took to get them out of the situation they're in!

He did take a paycut. Even if he played for £1 Barca couldn't register him right now. They cannot even register the likes of Aguero even after Messi has left.

Given they can't afford to register Depay and Aguero it would take a pay cut of around 100%.

Which kind of begs the question why were they signing new players when they can't afford them even without by far the biggest wage earner off their books?!

Were they really staking the whole house on the ESL that much?

The Times are reporting that Spurs have agreed a £60m+ plus fee with Inter for Martínez. Expect Kane to City to be announced soon.
