Summer Transfer Window 22/23

It's still a good amount over the period of his contract. Everything i read from Leicester fans is how lazy he is and he's essentially downed tools for two years.
Basically nail on head.I thought he'd want to put a shift in being a WC year, or at least advertise himself in the remaining weeks of the transfer window.

He only signed a contract extension because nobody wanted him.

Sorry to say, but he probably just doesn’t care about Leicester. They are showing 0 ambition and his WC place is pretty much guaranteed anyway. It’s not the right attitude but it’s the way it is. Put him in a team going for a European trophy, in the champs league or challenging to get in it, and you’ll see a different player.

If a player isnt bothered about playing for a club regardless of what club it is they clearly have a horrible attitude and arent worth signing.

That sentiment is true, but the fact remains they are still quality players. I would guess a few clubs might be waiting towards the end of the window to drive the price down.

Auba downed tools with us and acted like a brat, but he got his move to Barca and started banging them in every week.

I think this is harsh - he played virtually every game for the past 2 seasons, I wouldn't call that downing tools. His performances definitely dropped off, but you can say that about most of the team. I won't be too disappointed if he left because I think we have enough in midfield to cope without him but £16m is a bargain however you look at it.

Isak is a great signing for Newcastle, lot of potential. They should try and get Paqueta too.

We're going to make another offer for Antony imminently, €94m~ - seems ETH really wants him. Maybe Gakpo too for £40m~.

Antony looks like a Saint-Maximin type player, explosive and thrilling, but he'll need to be consistent with that price tag.

£94 million  There can't be any accusations of not backing the manager if we spend that much on an inconsistent player  Will he be on a million a week? A day?

I don't think the salary will be too bad, certainly not in the realms of our higher earners.

He looks a great player but it's one hell of a gamble at that price.
