Crazy money on players this summer and as others have mentioned its world class fees for bang average players.
Asking for 700 grand a week there. Here is a more reliable source, looks like a loan for depth
Rumours is we want McTommy on loan. (Cover injuries)
How is he anything but bang average when he isnt tearing up the league he's in... Which is below average?I wouldn’t say he’s a bang average player, but there’s certainly no guarantee he’ll be a roaring success. He’ll need to raise his game a couple of levels.
Eric Bailey - Marseille will cover the full amount of the 28-year-old's wages during the arrangement and there is a €6million obligation for them to buy him next summer subject to a certain number of appearances being made as well as the club qualifying for the Champions League.
Don’t want him, the guys a liability and a walking red card. The only reason he doesn’t get sent off more is because he plays for one of the “big 6”Rumours is we want McTommy on loan. (Cover injuries)
£80m for Antony is crazy money. I would expect to pay £40-50m max. Strange buy when I would consider CM and RB far more important positions to strengthen as well. This is when you perhaps should be telling the manager no. Even if he is a good player, thats too much of a gamble when there are other more pressing positions in the squad.
It's the wages we pay these average players. They are unsellable whilst in contract as6m euro? He cost us nearly 30m.
What is this, why are we so terrible at transfer business? You can't even buy half decent championship players for 6m.

I agree and disagree.

Please nooooooooooooo. So many good options available throughout europe if all we want is cover!
Ajax didn't want ETH poaching more than one player, certainly not this late in the window - so they are driving a particularly hard bargain. They don't have to sell but a club like Ajax won't ultimately turn that sort of money down. He would have been cheaper if we'd acted earlier I'm sure. Thank the Glazers for that.
While his stats aren't amazing, in terms of ability he looks absolutely rapid and with Neymar type skills, and he's Brazilian - that's always going to cost a premium. He's also familiar with ETH's system and what he wants, we need players who are going to give 110% and that seems to be the case. I've seen him play a few times and watched the videos as usual, but as Shami says above, ETH knows best.
He's only 22 with room for improvement. £50m or £80m, it doesn't matter if he works out - and it's equally bad if he fails. Let's hope not.
Your posts quite literally depress me. It's an endless circle of misery.
