Summer Transfer Window 22/23

I'd keep bissaka. Pointless selling him for 10m now.

Bring him on in the 70th-80th minute as a defensive RB to shore things up.

He's not woeful.

Or loan him out for a 5m fee and hope he has a good season and we can sell him for 40m soon...

There's not a chance that anybody is paying you a £5m fee and covering his wages and there's even less chance that anybody would be stupid enough to buy him for £40m.

Leicester close to signing Wout Faes from Stade Reims for ~€20m apparently. Young Belgian CB, can't say I've heard of him. Guess it's our Fofana replacement, but don't know anything else about him apart from he looks like a knock-off David Luiz.

24, English, fast great tackler.

That's got to be worth 5m a season to someone.

And we paid 45+5 for him so someone was stupid enough we must be able to find another.

This isn't football manager. And while he is fast and can tackle, pretty much every other aspect of his game is terrible and he's earning well in excess of £100k per week I'd imagine. There will be little demand for him which will put Utd in a fairly poor negotiating position meaning both that potential loan and certainly that potential sale is wishful thinking at the very least.

It's odd that Leicester have ended up like this.

As a Forest fan it pained me to admit how well they recruited and sold. Suddenly they're in trouble.

Owners, kind of understandably tbf look to have lost interest.
This may be partially true, but we've also spent a fortune on the training facilities, obviously there's some element of FFP at play. I think it also shows that it's nearly impossible for a club to compete for a sustained period if they don't have the revenue of the traditional big clubs. We've been balancing the books since the PL win by selling a big name each season, but we've still spent a lot of money in that time and there's only so long you can keep finding the talent to replace them.

Not really as any ground / training developments dont come into play with FFP.

It is possible, look at us for eg. We rarely break 50mil net spend a year. You're letting your owners off the hook.

2017/18 - £58m, 2018/19 - £163m, 2019/20 - broke even, 2020/21 - £93m. We then also spend £300m+ per season in wages, well over 50% more than Leicester.

Arsenal apparently close to signing Mudryk from Shakhtar. Brentford been after him the last two windows. Would be gutted if we miss out on him to another English side...

How much for? Having never heard of him his stats look pretty rubbish, 2 goals and 3 assists in his entire career. What am i missing? Haven't we already bought a young winger in Marquinhos to do this job?

EDIT
Reading 30 million, wtf has he done to justify that price?
