Summer Transfer Window 22/23

Nunez looks good, but I've seen people (who watch him) saying he's overrated too. £85m~ is a fair whack.

We've been linked to him as well, although it all seems pretty quiet for us. I hope the De Jong deal won't drag on, if there are issues, move on to someone else.

Given our past transfer windows, it's all a bit worrying...

Its a hefty dollop of dosh for sure. I guess if Mane goes for 35m then the net cost of Nunez would be 50m, which seems ok , in terms of the usual going price for a 30+ goals in a season forward. Interestingly he has the same agent as Carvalho, Jota and Fabinho, so its an agent we've had dealings with before very recently.

Looks like we're not going to protract deals and Lodi is probably off the cards now
12 million seems like a bit of a bargain. Lodi would have cost around 35 to 40 million?

He's very good at intercepting the ball and cutting out crosses. Probably safer option with Maxi on the same wing lol

Gives Howe time to try and improve Lewis.

Fan, not fans.

In the two games I've seen him play in his attitude and applications were fantastic, as was his finishing.
Hopefully that wasnt the two games against us this season because in terms of his attitude, he repeatedly dove and playacted in those games, so much so that both commentators highlighted it. His finishing was clinical though. Klopp wants him if you believe the reports and I'm sure that Klopps brilliant man management skills can iron out any potential attitude issues in him.

I'm not sure they're skint but they probably haven't forgot about us signing Thiago for £20-25m and paying them in 50p installments.

Not seen much of Nunez, other than when playing us, I am sure if he signs I will watch a Youtube highlights reel and he will be the best player in the world though.

I'd rather Bowen tbh , or Gnabry even. However, I cant see Bowen going anywhere and Gnabry perhaps isnt the sort of no.9-esque mould that Klopp might be wanting for next season. Of course in an ideal world, we'd get Bowen AND Nunez, but its not an ideal world and who I (and indeed anyone else on any random internet forum) would prefer to buy is irrelevant or we'd all be premier league managers :D , all we can do is continue to have faith in Klopp and Liverpools transfer gurus and so far they've got a pretty darned good record with transfers. Fingers crossed this is another one and one which doesnt lead to me moaning at him during games to get on his feet and stop fannying around :D

Not fussed on Gnabry or Bowen, though I do like Bowen. Would like a new midfielder that has more of a goal threat and Nunez cos I just watched some youtube vids. :D

Definitely agree on the new midfielder. I should correct my "ideal world" scenario, to say Bowen AND Nunez AND a Tielemans type midfielder (in terms of goals)
