Given they tried to get the deal done In January and they said they'd be back its no real surprise that a deal got done.
 
Yep. I said when the January deal fell through, fundamentally nothing changed. He wasn't going to move until the summer anyway - all the clubs were doing was agreeing a deal then to save the hassle of going through a tribunal later, which is exactly what they've done now. David Lynch reported back in February that the two clubs had agreed to roll over their January agreement and it was just a case of waiting for an opportunity to fit a medical in and sign all the paperwork - I guess that opportunity came during the recent internationals.
 
Not from the bits and pieces I've seen. He's played either off Mitrovic or off the left, similar to how Coutinho used to play for us.
 
Not a transfer per-se but apparently PSG are offering Mbappe £150m signing on fee and £21/year salary to stay for another 2 years. He would be mad to turn that down if its true. RM won't offer him 1/3 of that and he can go there in another 2 years if he wants to.

On that list, I would love to see Newcastle go after James Tarkowski, Divock Origi, Jesse Lingard, Boubacar Kamara and Joao Moutinho, with 2 cheeky conversations with Paulo Dybala and Alexandre Lacazette. If we could sign 4 of those I think that would give us a solid foundation to become a top 10 side.
