Summer Transfer Window 22/23

On that list, I would love to see Newcastle go after James Tarkowski, Divock Origi, Jesse Lingard, Boubacar Kamara and Joao Moutinho, with 2 cheeky conversations with Paulo Dybala and Alexandre Lacazette. If we could sign 4 of those I think that would give us a solid foundation to become a top 10 side.
You really don’t want Lacazette believe me. It’s like watching an old man trudge around the pitch. He’s way past his best.

No he wouldn’t, slow and old now and not what we need, there are far better players available on a free, stop trying to palm of your cast offs :cry::cry::cry:
I would take Divock Origi though

You wouldnt have Milner yet you would have Moutinho, whos 35 and slow and Tarkowski whos slower then ya nan?

I mean really?

Kessie
Dybala
Bebe

Could make a great team out of this lot.

Kessie is Barca bound.

Was the Bebe shout a joke :cry::D

Fair bit of noise this morning about Haaland £500K a week been agreed with Man City.

Officially 500k who knows unofficially as we know they love to cook the books. Insane money and thats before an outrageous signing on fee. Nothing to a club with the best commercial revenue in the world mind you.

Edit

Talk of 70mil to the agent and his dad. They are just laughing at everyone at this point.

That sort of money to his agent and dad is hilarious and ridiculous at the same time :p

Edit: ah, it's Raiola. City need to bend over.

Why can't Pep do it without hundreds of millions every single year? Is Haaland even suited for them? I dont think he is but moneys irrelevant to them so it doesnt even matter, theyll throw a similar sum to someone else in the next window.

"If people want to believe it’s just money, it’s ok, that’s up to you."

Yea ok Pep.

If Haaland moves to man city it will certainly be interesting to see if he loses anything having to learn to be a robot to play in a Guardiola team.

What I don’t understand is where the need to pay 70m or whatever I’m signing on fee etc comes from. If City didn’t pay it, who will? He certainly doesn’t strike me as a player who wants to go to psg. So if city say 500k per week and 5 million signing on fee who is bettering that?

Its also no use moaning about city or anyone else’s spending when you continue to show the demand for the sport or your team. So if an Arab state takes over Liverpool will you stop talking and supporting your team?

I’ve given up on thinking football will ever turn into an actual competition with salary caps and transfer caps.

If owners similar to Cities or Newcastle took over my team id want them to fold. Its every use moaning when they are clearly fiddling the numbers. They dont even hide it anymore.

I used to argue against what you said until very recently. I’ve spent a lot of time this year educating myself on the region, money and I can’t follow the sport at all anymore in any real capacity. I no longer follow a team at all after 40 plus years or pay for anything that helps fund the premier league. Sometimes I get weak and browse a forum or a news article but I liken that to the curiosity of looking at an ignored forum members posts.

I don’t want any foreign owners, full stop but I know that’s unreasonable.

sports washing works plain and simple. The likes of sky/the beeb/ITv/BT Sport don't care about where the money comes, nor do the fans generally. You only have to look at Chelsea, one or 2 people were raising concerns a decade ago, and sky laughed it off.

Sorry but I call BS on that. If it was a choice between controversial owners and Liverpool completely disappearing, you’d go for the dodgy owners.

Call BS on what? Im pretty sure i know my own opinion more then you lmao. I've said on several occasions thats its a hard no from me.

Absolutely no chance and i wouldnt be alone in that thinking either. Liverpool fans would protest it.
