Problem with Nabylad is he loves picking up injuries. He's been unavailable for 31 games since 2020/21 (transfrmarkt) so yes whilst I agree he needs a new deal he cannot be relied upon to put in a run of games. I just think come next summer we could potentially be replacing Salah and if you believe the rumours looking to sign Bellingham. That's a big ask in itself without then having to potentially sign another cm which will be required as ours get older / out of contract. I'm all for our young lads getting more minutes but i do think we could do with another body in there.

I would also be offering Bobby a new deal on lower wages. He clearly wont be part of the first 11 but i reckon he's alright with that tbh. You wont find many better then him as a squad player.

I think it means less chance of someone like Jesus being signed. Nketiah will have wanted assurances as to game time next season and if we bought Jesus he'd need to be a regular, I can't see Arteta playing with 2 strikers.
I suppose there's always the possibility Nketiah got offered a big wedge and just took the money, 5 years security on a phat cheque, I'd imagine he's probably trousering around £20m over that period.
Previously wage was £45k/week.

I'd imagine Saka will be knocking on Arteta's door soon, he's only on £30k/week and player of season last two years running, top scorer last season, England regular etc.
 
Jesus is on holiday at the moment everything coming out of brazil is that its a done deal i believe it will be announced tuesday

He really wants to play for arteta who did a lot of work with him when he was at city

If we also get tilemans or raphina and martinez i think it will of been a really good transfer window
