Romero is saying the meeting with Mendes was about Kounde, who knows.
As I saw somebody say on twitter, maybe he caught the same strain of covid as Prince Andrew.Could easily be a legit reason he is not there yet.
You aren't the only one. I'd loved Eriksen to play for Leicester. Thought the Schmeichel connection, would have tipped in our favourBack on topic I'm gutted Newcastle didn't push for Eriksen, I'd have loved him!
Please please please.
And Chris Wood 10 yards behind play when Wilson is missing for 50% of the season. Hopefully they are eyeing up a new centre forward too.Max on one wing, Diaby on the other, pretty mouthwatering.
Lol, Brentford are 80% Danish and it didn't help us. Rumours going that his agent was still out there trying to drum up interest in a massive deal last weekend... if that's true then very disappointing that he didn't let us know earlier that he'd not be staying. You aren't the only one. I very much hope this isn't true.
He wants Champions League football and to continue at an elite level. That’s the last thing he’ll do. Unless you mean he’ll end up there eventually in a few years?Wouldn't surprise me if Ronaldo went to MLS, could probably make a killing in terms of sponsorships etc if he raised his profile in the US a bit. Would probably suit his ego as well everyone telling him what a legend he is, banging in a few goals etc.
PSG doesn't feel right with Mbappe having signed a new deal, not sure he would go to another English club, Barca can't afford him. Bayern could be a possibility if Lewandolski leaves, or maybe he could wash up in Italy again.

Manchester United have been getting a bit of heat over the difficulty they have experienced in trying to sign Frenkie De Jong from Barcelona.
It is understood an outline deal is in place but progress towards completion has been slow.
A piece in the Spanish newspaper Marca might explain why.
Marca say they have seen De Jong's Barcelona contract and it confirms the Dutchman agreed to a major restructuring of his contract within an overall extension that was designed to help the Catalan giants through the pandemic.
Essentially, Marca says De Jong had his salary reduced to €3m in 2020-21 and €6m last season. Starting from next season, he is due to earn €18m for the next three years - and €19m in the final year.
Evidently, if he was to leave for United now, De Jong would want some kind of compensation for the money he should have earned by now but hasn't.
Hopefully it won't take ages to resolve.
Sounds like a complete mess of Barcas own making. As it stands, a large chunk of the transfer fee will probably need to go to De Jong to cover the missed wages. I guess that there is no hard and fast rule about deferred wages and transfers that result in those future years never happening.
If I was de Jong I would be telling them to pay me what my salary should have been for the past 2 years if they want me to leave, otherwise I will stick around for the last 4 years and basically bankrupt them.
I'm stuck between United playing hardball and trying to screw Barca over as much as possible and just wanting to get a quality player like De Jong in. God Barca are a bunch of *****.
It's a hard one for us to pull off for various reason. Transfer fee being one.I very much hope this isn't true.
If Leverkusen sell then they'll outbid us on Mudryk as his replacement. If we sign Hickey, Lewis-Potter and Mudryk this season without losing anyone I'll be over the moon.
If (big if) he joins he'll be on silly money with you lot as he won't take a pay cut to join. Image getting the Ronaldo cash flow off the books and then paying this guy 350k plus a week. Seems entirely logical to me, assuming he performs.
If Ronaldo does go, the wage bill will have been massively reduced. Pogba/Mata/Matic/Cavani/Lingard/Henderson have all gone too.
