Summer Transfer Window 22/23

Sterling has completed his move to Chelsea. Will be interesting to see how he gets on. Good player but I think he was flattered a bit at City. Interested to see where Chelsea go with this window. Seem to be after Ake as well.

Interesting choice for Sterling going to a club where the fans racially abused him.

As for Ake, how has he ever demanded such a high transfer fee? Is he solid, sure, but City paid £40 million+ and are asking for £40million +. What's he done to warrant that sort of cash?

What has Lisandro Martinez done to be worth 50m+?

He's not even 6ft. It will be like watching lindleoff trying to win headers all over again.

And with Hazmat Maguire being captain presumably he will start. Presumably Varane won't be dropped... so we are trying to buy Lisandro Martin's for 50m as a sub?

Despite having Baily, Lindleoff and Jones on the books?

He'll suit Chelsea better imo. City play as a team, Chelsea play more like a team of individuals.

His ball hogging, aimless dribbling and pop shots from 30 yards out should suit them to a tee.

Not sure thats true any more. Chelsea just stuttered massively last season when their two first choice wingbacks both got injured for a long time. They were playing some nice cohesive football before that.

Murtough and Arnold (Man Utd execs) are in Barcelona today, and Frenkie de Jong is back there too.

Hope something is decided soon.

Probably something along the lines of 'One of you must pay my back owed wages or I'm staying put'. And i wouldn't blame him either. I believe he's owed double figure millions of Euros.

Keane Lewis-Potter 16m
Neco Williams 17.5m

Whaaaat
I've got no idea whether KLP is worth that or not. Hull supporters seem upset to be losing him for that amount.

The word from some senior members of staff within our club is that there's simply no mid-market at all, and what would have cost you £7.5m a couple of years ago is at least double now... players seem to be either free or you'll see no change from £15m!

Crazy!

All eggs appear to be in one basket, as usual.

Literally, whats plan B why don't wehabe that ready to go and as soon as FDJ says no, we just go elsewhere instead of faffing for 4 weeks.

Also anyone noticed that the UTD team TH is trying to put together is basically half of his old Ajax team?

FDJ
Antony
Lisandro
Justin Timberlake (turned us down already)
Brobbery

Plus don't forget we have 40m Donny

Like out of every player across the entire world TH only wants to buy Ere players or ex Ajax players (Erikson is ex ajax too)

Surely a great manager can manage new players he hasn't worked with before? Is it me or are we seeing some severe tunnel vision here?

Is he, Martinez, going to be used as centre back? He can also play as a defensive midfielder. I do agree about the fee though.

If the press are to be believed then either Tielemans or Neves are plan B. As for Ajax players, it’s about surrounding himself with players he can trust to play the system Ten Haag wishes to implement and also people he can trust in the dressing room.

Well it's getting mighty close to plan B time...

I understand what he wants trust but at what cost? 200m for 3 players? Only 1 of which is actually established outside of the Ere.

As soon as Ajax said 120m for the pair id laugh amd walk. Earn trust elsewhere.
