Summer Transfer Window 22/23

Only Mo has more goals and assists then Sterling in the last 5 seasons. Both of those coming in are unknown quantities in the PL and Alverez in Europe period. I think its a big loss for them.

Maybe the hope is just that whilst we might concede a couple more goals from crosses during open play (you'd assume we have enough height at set pieces), the benefits of having a capable defender on the ground far outweigh everything else given our alternatives?

Either that or maybe he's just got superb calves that can lift him 3ft off the ground :D

Have you seen the amount of crosses that get chucked in in the EPL?

Wonder why lindloff gets abuse for losing out on headers etc?

To be fair how many attackers have been in the league for 5 seasons?

Looks like Martinez has rejected Arsenal
Kane, Son, Rashford, Mane, Mahrez and even Ozil tbf who was the so called assist king. Plenty of forwards cant touch Sterling for numbers.

Sterling from wide has hit double figures for goals in the last 5 seasons and has a goal scoring record of 1 in 2 in the PL.

That's ridiculous.

"Despite his stature - he is 5ft 9in (or 175cm) and will be the shortest centre-back in the Premier League if he completes his move to Old Trafford - he is a dominant presence in the air."

-Lisandro Martinez

Teams are just going to stand Akinfenwah on him and it's going to be carnage.

We will have both the smallest and slowest cb pairing in the EPL, with captain Mags. Its going to be pure embarrassment.

Crouch is getting ready to lace up his boots for another crack

I still think you are trolling us with this :p

Cannavaro and Baresi weren’t bad.

Ten Hag clearly thinks it’ll work, let’s give it a chance.

Its going to be an interesting season with both Liverpool and City seemingly going back to a more traditional shape with an out and out forward after years of relying on goals from across the front 3 and midfield.
