Fab deal is finally done. Leaves us very light from a squad point of view. Im not convinced Lavia is the answer, but for the 1st 11, we are ok, but one or 2 injuries, we are knadgered

Now Fab is gone we need Lavia even more plus another midfielder. If we do that i think we would be fine providing we least promote Bajectic to the first team
My guess is that, with the start of the season rapidly approaching, we will only be getting Lavia.

so a sub £100m net spend, while not insignificant it's still a poor considering how little they have put in over the years and the mess the squad was in
City have let some really important players go this window. Ok they are not in trouble but I think it will be much tougher next year for them. It's going to be hard for lots of clubs to keep older players on reduced wages in their twilight with SA snapping them up for better wages than they have ever earned.
Journo's close to the club are reporting that we want 2 midfielders and a defender before the window is closed. I think we'll get the 2 midfielders, not sure about the defender though.
Any thoughts on who the 2nd midfielder might be? (If we assume the 1st is Lavia)
There's been a number of reports over here and in Brazil saying we've opened talks with Fluminese over a possible deal to sign Andre. I can't say I know anything about him other than he's 22 year old that's just broke into the Brazil squad.
Cant say that I've ever seen him play, shame that nothing came of the Kone links earlier in the window, would have really liked us to sign Kone
Like Palhinha, just being linked to us lead to him getting injured. The club are very good at allowing certain names to be leaked to the media and then signing somebody out of the blue though so who knows who we'll end up with. I guess we'll know a lot more in the next few days once the side come back from Singapore.
