I think that's where I am on this one. From what I've seen of Mount, which admittedly is not a lot, I see him as the sort of Lampard, box-to-box player who gets into goalscoring positions but is definitely an attacking biased player versus defence. He's a tidy enough player but is he really that much better than McTominay and for the money which is guesstimated at c£60m. Surely Caicedo is a better prospect for what United need, which is cover in the DCM role for when Casimiro is suspended for a quarter of the season. Not convinced on Mount but will trust EtH.

Mason mount seems like a meh signing to me. He will be on silly wages too no doubt. At least it will be done early which means it was planned and not a typical Man U panic buy.
