£30-35m for Maguire is very good business. Ok, still a huge loss, but I'm glad it's sorted.

Kane negotiations still ongoing... if Levy wants £100m and Bayern are at £94m, they may as well just pay up.

Would you be happy if McTom left too? Seems with both leaving the squad looks paper thin? What arrivals are they expecting?

For a player that never was worth £80m even at his peak, on wages that are far too high and hes 30 I think we have done OK with the Maguire sale.

Its a tricky one because fundamentally hes a good player probably worth a little more than that but hes no good for United any more and his wages/age are against us getting a better fee.

Fred is meant to be leaving too, so we would be very light in midfield. I think ETH wants to bring through a couple of younger players - Hannibal and Mainoo (who unfortunately got injured on the tour). If we did that and signed Amrabat, we'd be fine.

But, I think there's more business to come if we bring in £70m~ for Maguire and McT.
 
West Ham truly are going down this season. I love it.

Zouma and Maguire as centre halves, every PL club will be looking forward to that.

Agreed - Nothing against him, he's just a couple of "notches" under what United need in a proper top level centre back for me. He's done well, didn't deserve some of the grief he got/has had.

McTominay can go as well for me - Similar to McGuire, just not quite good enough.

If both leave then I'd go after Amrabat immediately.

Nah, they'll play so deep that both will look like great defenders. They were a counter attacking team anyway, this won't change their style at all. Maguire is a better CB than what they have and perfect for how they play, head everything away and smash it up the pitch.

I would like to keep McTom. Granted hes not the level of the other first team players but hes a fairly good squad player who always (from what I have seen) gives 100%. Hes still young and with some more coaching could turn out far better. if only he stopped hiding and actually moved into empty spaces to receive the ball. I mean look at what happened to AWB. Thats a turn around and a half.

G Nev made a good point on the overlap if Bayern offer 100 million and Levy accepts then Harry Kane can go what if United wanted to pay that?

Hence I do not think he will go.
