Summer Transfer Window 23/24

Kane should go really. Thats a big opportunity for him. Hopefully make him a better player for England as well.

I think he should stay and get Shearer's record and leave on a free next summer. Going to Bayern is a sideways move. No way are they winning the Champions League and German league is worth less than a League Cup in this country.

Can you imagine the bants if Kane were to leave only for Dortmund to win the league.

Kane to Bayern done. Will he go? Would be an idiot to stay imo.

Why would he be an idiot to stay. He probably doesn't want to move his family to Germany. Hes chasing down the all time goal record in the PL and if he stays until the end of the season he could probably earn twice what hes on now at a different club by signing as a free agent.

If anything, moving to Bayern would only be for the guarantee of a domestic title and a good chance of a CL. Hes coming into the twilight of his career so money probably should be a big lure.

Spurs have already spent 190 mil this summer...I doubt they will spend all of the Kane "money"

Christ, I didn't realise they had spent that much. On what? They are going to need to desperately find a Kane replacement and everyone will know they have £100m sitting in their back pocket.

Hate to tell you this but he isnt getting 48 goals this season

Bayern won it 4 seasons ago, no reason they couldn't go all the way again, especially if they got a striker of kane's quality

He won't get 48 goals this season but I guarantee if he is available on a Bosman at the end of the season he will have options to remain in the Premier League with clubs in the mix for the title which will then give him the chance to chase the record down and add the medals his talent clearly warrants. If he goes to Bayern he will be accepting that the premier league record won't be his which may or may not be a big deal to him. I could see him sitting out his contract and then signing for Arsenal or Chelsea so he doesn't have to uproot his family both would be delighted to have him next season would offer him a bucket load of cash and the chance to win something.

I think he’ll stay. This may be controversial, but I think he’s a bit of a coward when it comes to pushing himself to better things. Spurs is like his comfort blanket. No real pressure playing there for him now. I think he’ll be perfectly happy going a year without European football if it means he stays in his comfort zone.

I have no particular interest in this but I just don't see the Kane to Bayern thing, it just doesn't seem right... I don't know why. Im sure he will score loads of goals there...

Is he going there to win the German league and a league cup?.... so what.

Theyve got a good chance of champs league with kane

Some of you lot seem to be forgetting that Bayern lost Lewandowski and replaced him with...Chupa Moting. They still won the league and did pretty well in the CL. Kane would help them massively.

"On what?" Maddison, Porro, Kulu, Van de Ven, Vicario, Veliz -despite whjat people think, they haven't just stood still whilst everyone else worries about the Kane saga. I think that's Euros, in any case 2 of those players were brought over from previous transfer windows so would have had that money to spend anyway. We won't be playing the same system as Kane is in now, nor would we expect any striker to cover for the usual 25+ goals a season as the system is all fed to Kane previously. There is a striker in Richarlison....somewhere.

If that were the case I’d have expected him to have signed a long term contract by now.

On positions that needed far more attention than a forward (though we have bought for the future there too) - defence, a creative midfielder, goalkeeper, I think the money for Kulusevski was included in that too.

We've brought in a couple goal threats in Maddison and Soloman on a free who's looked fantastic during preseason, Richarlison should hopefully do well in Ange's system, Son might be better suited to playing up top too.

I don't think Spurs will get top 4 but we won't be struggling as much as everyone thinks, it's just an overreaction to a season filled with mistakes but also a lot of bad fortune.

Kane will not stay the deal wouldnt of got this far down the line unless kane said he was open to going to munich
I disagree. This is business for Levy. He couldn't give a fig about Harry Kane if there is a risk of him leaving on a free. I think this is 50:50. Kane is a homeboy and I'm not convinced he sees a move to Bayern as a step forward. It's a weak league and their CL form recently is poor. Ask Lewandowski why he left to go to Barca. Kane should have agitated for a move to Real or a title contender in England if he wanted a real legacy move. Personally I think he'll sign a 1 year extension.

You Manu fans should really move on. Shearer turned you down twice but that was decades ago.

Are any of those players that good? Are any of those players going to seriously improve the first XI. Will you actually be able to replace Kanes goals/assists with those players?

I just don't see it. Perhaps I will be proved completely wrong.
