Nothing like Rice. Rice has moved on and improved while Mount has stalled and if anything, regressed.
 
Rice benefits from a stable manager with club and country. I'm not sold on him as this £120m player. He's decent but I don't think he has it all and certainly not enough to warrant such a huge fee. Chelsea has been chaos and I think Mount probably has a lot more competition for a place in the England set up whereas Rice only really has Henderson as a CDM. Let's not forget how awful West Ham have been for two seasons (in the league at least). Still prefer Caicedo :)

Where did you get £120m from. West Ham are not asking £120m for him, at least not realistically

You said hyped up English player. Well that is just like rice. Improved from average to overpriced Carrick. I’m sure you will agree when he chooses someone other than Arsenal. Just like how United fans who didn’t want Mount near the England team now think there’s a player in there somewhere. :p

No I agree I think Mount is a waste of money and although I have never watched him for Chelsea he has been bang average for England.

Then again we paid big money for Di Maria, Lukaku, Maguire and Pogba who were meant to be fantastic but ended up as flops.

I actually thought Milner was a lol signing for Liverpool but he arguably ended up as one of Liverpool's best transfers. This is how I would hope Mount would turn out.

I think Mount for a reasonable price is fine, just don't want it going into the 60m+ range. I'll admit most of my experience watching him is for England which is perhaps not the best judge of quality for a player.
 
The mirror saying Chelsea want close to 70 million for him whereas man u have a 55 million price in mind, although they are also claiming maquire could be used to bump the figure closer to what Chelsea want (why would they want the donkey is beyond me tho)

Chelsea need to sell. They are in no position to barter imo because they are buggered by FFP. Donny serves the same purpose as Mount imo so if we don't get him cheap then leave it tbh.

Maguire their way plus 30 million would be decent business however.

Lingard leaving Notts Forest. Close to zero impact for his rumoured £200k a week - another Delli Allesque fall from grace. Disgraceful really.
 
Mount is completely underwhelming, if the rumours of him demanding silly wages from Chelsea are true, then United can easily find themselves in a very familiar position of being stuck with a player who nobody will want due to their ridiculous salary.

Mount has been poor lately, but that's because he's at Chelsea. As a versatile midfield player he's pretty good, certainly better than Fred and McTominay.

Would I choose to sign him? No. But ETH must want him and he's done a decent job so far.
