We've been caught off guard with Henderson and Fabinho both leaving but ultimately we accepted the bids and should have acted by now. I think we were hesitant on Lavia because of his age and the fact we have Bajcetic who's a similar age but isnt valued anywhere near what Lavia is hence their reluctance to pay the 50 mil Southampton wanted but if you want a player you have to pay the price.
An obsession with buying attacking players rather than addressing the real issue - the 2 we've got this summer so far have helped in that regard but the DM has been known about for a while now and Klopp seemingly doesnt care enough to address it - doesnt look like the club were massively sold on Lavia or they would have bid more earlier (i expect Chelsea would have come in sooner for him if we had one accepted seeing as they've been tracking him for a year plus) Caicedo was an opportunity that presented itself - as to the Dm thing, there's a good solid 5 or 6 that are around or have moved in recent months and yet the club arent looking at them.
