I highly doubt that Salah wants to leave at the moment, however....should it be the case that he does want to, I'd be ok with letting him go for 100+m. Might well be the last chance to get such a big piece of dosh for him and tbh, I think we can cope without him and that amount of money can go a fair way to continuing to sort the midfield and defence out.
Having said that, he'll probably score 5 goals in his next 3 games now and I'll be saying that I'm glad he didnt go

They've just paid 90odd million for a clown that misses over half of every season, 300million seems reasonable to me

They couldn't attract and / or afford a teenage Bellingham. Getting in someone of Salah's quality as a ready made replacement in this short period of time is next to impossible, let alone getting that person for less for 100m.

I always got the impression Liverpool did want Bellingham but it was always a bit too far for us for a single player. We've now got Mac & Szoboszlai for less than Bellingham would have cost us and I suspect Jude wanted Madrid anyway. No idea where the money for Caicedo was coming from either!

Tbh it's not a bad move. He's reliable, experienced, knows ours style, etc. and our recent injury crisis has forced the club's hand. No Dasilva nor Baptiste for a goof couple of months, and I've heard Damsgaard out for a while too. That's a midfield three all long-term injured in the space of a week!
