Summer Transfer Window 23/24

Will be hard to turn down a genuine £200m+ offer

However, say it does happen, would those in the other thread who said this Saudi thing wasn't a threat to the European leagues change their mind?

Yes, he's 31, but he's Liverpool's second most important player after Alisson and will be a massive blow to them this late in the window. Could severely hamper their chances of finishing in the top 4. It would also absolutely obliterate the premier league transfer record.

It's still a bit dodgy to me that a PIF-owned club can have so much influence on a competitor in a league with another PIF-owned club.

Rumors beginning to circulate that Saudi are going to offer 200 million euros for Salah, any pool fans in the know heard anything?

Laughed at by some earlier today now looking like it is possible

Anything can happen in the English transfer market. If a club can pay 65m for Havertz the Saudi's can pay 200m for 31 user old Salah.

Agree with the last part. Theyve done it last minute so we cant replace him aswell.

Isn’t like 150 to 200million worth a hell of a lot more than one season in Champions league?

Take the money
Not with less than 6 hours left of deadline. They've had months to submit a bid or 2, and there's been rumors galore i might add (shot down by Salah's agent) but decided to leave it until a few hours before the pl window closes. He's not going anywhere.

CHO looks a great signing at £5m.

On Salah, I'm almost tempted to say take the money and run. He's 31, so realistically has another season or two at his best, and that's enough money to buy basically whoever we want to replace him. It's a season of change in the squad anyway, so what's one more change? And he's been slightly deeper this season anyway, which is a role Elliot can fill (obviously less well, but it's an easier hole to fill than the marauding Salah of past years).

Ideally, we'd agree to let him go for £150m at the end of the season, but if it's a choice between getting significantly less money for him, or losing him a season "early", I'd rather take the money
