Summer Transfer Window 23/24

This is positive news provided a replacement for Iwobi is signed (Gnonto and Sulemana being the two most heavily linked).

Maupay was a ghost and was the 4th choice striker. Iwobi wasn't exactly delivering either despite a brief 2-3 month period under Lampard where he turned into Iwobinho

Gnonto rescinded his transfer request after watching Everton get battered by Villa!

If Barca weren't skint Salah would have ended up there for ridiculous money a couple of years ago. I thought they would end up stuck with him as he aged but this is perfection. Cash in on an older player and re-invest in the squad. I would have let him go for £100m at 31 so anything they hold out for is a massive bonus. The timing is perfect for the owners to make that money disappear before a transfer window comes round again.

not been on the net to check much today but is the 150m for salah genuine? liverpool would be nuts (imo) not to take it. accept a mediocre season and have the scouts working over time to get a replacement for next summer. klopp is in a rebuilding phase and 150m in the hip pocket would make for a damn decent war chest next summer. not sure how the fans would take to that scenario though.

that being said, as a UTD fan i hope they accept it and then blow it on 2 donkeys and a stray cat. :p

I am very happy if he turns out well.

Basically our season starts now with him coming in and pound land Haaland.

I only just realised we also have regulion on loan too. I remember we were in for him before but he had a buyout clause for RM to take him back so we didn't bother.

What happened with him at Spurs? He played under Jose and Conte so maybe not the right type of coach so might still be a player in there until Shaw comes back.
