With all the prices for Hernandez, Caisedo and Rice, the Amrabat and Gravenberch deals seems like an absolute bargain.

Sure Amrabat is 3 years older but the price is absolute steal. Especially if you need someone with more experience in the center of the park.

Bit disappointing to not bring anyone in yesterday but no way you can turn down £20m (plus addons) for Iwobi when he walks on a free next season... it's absurd money tbh. Maupay was the fourth-choice striker as well.

Unfortunately, the club is broke due to spiraling stadium costs which Usmanov can't bankroll due to the sanctions placed on Russian oligarchs. Combine this with having to slash the wage bill due to FFP somehow still being an issue (despite spending peanuts for the past 5 transfer windows) and it's quite easy to see why they have ended up with a tiny squad.
