Summer Transfer Window 23/24

I actually think he's vastly overrated. Not direct enough, doesn't fit well into systems, and doesn't work back enough. I can't see him fitting a top 7 English side, and there's no way he's going lower.

If they sell for that much then thats trossard and mcalister they have lost within 6 month for next to nothing

Must be £200m there easily.
Hearing Mac Allister to be announced later today. For £35m. If that's true Brighton majorly messed up, but they did buy him for only £7m apparently.

Some sort of bizarre complicated clause in his contact apparently allows him to move to a bigger club for just 35m, no idea what the details of the clause are but its supposedly a complex one, 35m for him is good value in the current market though.

Caicedo will be the big loss for us, Mac Allister contract was done before he had his decent World Cup.

We’ve got Milner and Dahoud coming for free, plus the Pedro for £30mil. Desperately need a RB, we played a lot of games without one so playing Caicedo/Gross out of position.

Brighton didn't mess up. His deal was due to expire in the summer - he held all the cards when it came to negotiating his new deal. He got himself a 6 month pay rise + the guarantee of being able to leave in the summer and Brighton get them self £35-45m or whatever the final fee will be instead of nothing.
