Summer Transfer Window 23/24

I'm sickened by how well Liverpool is run. It's disgusting.

Indeed. This summer is going to be really interesting, finally come to the conclusion and addressed the midfield. If Klopp gets them new signings to click, they'll be right at the top. Diaz will be like a new signing again, and Gakpo/Nunez will have really settled now.

I'm not paying attention next season.

How do you know without him they wouldn't have done better? Flogging him for £120 million and spending wisely on replacements will make Westham stronger not weaker. A lot of these player figures are hugely inflated because the top teams have the revenue to pay for it. Especially when they have an English name.

Liverpool just got a young World cup winning Argentine midfielder for 55million from a club that finished in the top 6. That is good business.

I see Rice as a MK2 Maguire.
I agree about Rice. I don't want him at United. I think there are more mobile players that offer more. He does actually remind me of Maguire in that he is a tad robotic to my eye. Good luck to Arsenal if they get him.
Huh? £35m for a world cup winner vs £70m for Antony, how much was Sancho? Maguire? Fred? VdB?
Wasn't this a release clause that he (McAllister) had in his contract. Neither Antony or Sancho had release clauses and we are terrible at negotiating.

Why don't we find the players with the release clauses?

We've been heavily linked with Kim Min Jae from Napoli because of his release clause this summer

That would be a top signing, we can easily afford him, the pull of United will be great but I guarantee we will mess that up. He has everything for a CB and he is only 26. Potentially giving you 5-6 season CB pairing with Martinez which would be the solid backbone for creating a dynasty.

No worries lol.
I think City are well run as well. Why didn't we do what they did to get Pep in? Yes they have unlimited funds (and cheating the finances) but they also did what they needed to do to get Pep. Why didn't we get Pep or Klopp?

The Thuram links to Liverpool picking up speed this evening on twitter, some French journo claiming deal agreed in principle between us and Nice - also claims verbal agreement in place with the player

You did try and get Klopp...he turned United down. As for City being well run...well they have been charged with 115 breaches off FFP so they clearly arent that well run lol.

Pep wasn't looking to manage in England when Fergie left and we have been run awfully for years. Klopp was sold an awful vision for United and preferred what Liverpool offered. Pep also loves to go to the best funded and most dominant team in a league
