Summer Transfer Window 23/24

If Newcastle do sign McTominay do we get slab head for free? Now mind you still have to pay the lad in the divorce.

Sky was reporting we are in the lead for Madders.

Interesting window for the toon that’s for sure. Don’t think we have a massive budget but will buy if the right players pop up we buy.

Madders
Tierney (looks a cert if Arsenal get a replacement)
MacTominay
Szoboszlai? He is mainly a very versatile winger so be interesting to see if we still want if we get Madders.

Can't help but feel that McTominay would do quite well at Newcastle.
I think he'd be a solid option in midfield for them. He won't set the world alight, but if they keep building he'll have a useful place there for 3 years or so before they replace him with someone better.

Depending on price. I don’t hate it.

I actually think he's quite underrated. Always puts a shift in and is dependable. Plays great for Scotland too! Newcastle could do a lot worse, but yes I also agree he's not what Newcastle will want or need come 2028 or later.

Newcastle have some sort of hybrid players do what they want system but well drilled.

Bruno for an example is our 6. His average position is the highest 6 in the PL maybe even Europe when he switches to a playmaker.

McTominey would be a great fit being able to advance and drop back to cover.

Him and Longstaff probably on rotation.
