Wonder what this means for Kane, surely Madrid can't afford/fit both of them in a team.

I'm not even sure where they fit Mbappe tbh. He doesn't seem to want to play up front and they have Vinicius Junior where he's been playing.

Superb player obviously but seems far more trouble than he’s worth. Got far too much say at PSG. His wages would probably be double what anyone’s been paid at United preciously and I don’t see how Madrid can afford Messi barca wages on him.
 
Yeah I've got to say I don't even want him at United. He's an insane talent but he's also an insanely arrogant ego. We just got rid of one of those. I don't want to have someone who can't be bothered to press because he thinks he's too good for it, decides to stop running when someone doesn't pass to him. That's not even addressing the off the pitch issues like apparently being able to pick where he plays at PSG. No talent is worth that attitude.

Regardless of Levy stating, he'll not sell Kane to another Premier league team. I'm sure if United offer £125m it would be enough to sign Kane.

Otherwise I can see Kane running down his contract and leaving on a free at the end of the season.
 
Would love to see Mbappe in the prem despite how much of an arse he is. Realistically, there's only United who could afford to pay him if you disregard City as not needing him, and Chelsea on the basis of how much they've just spent in a season with no CL.
 
Wouldn't make sense for United to buy Mbappe. Hes a left sided wide forward...exactly the same as Rashford. Is he better? Oh yes. Is he enough to justify the silly wages and transfer to replace a player who is playing really well at the moment? No.

We need a proper out and out striker and 2-3 other positions before we even considered someone like Mbappe.

Could well be, but even then there only Bayern who come close to splashing that sort of money on one signing, and they don't need him. Maybe an Italian club would be willing to come close to what you apparently want for him as I can't see any of the big pl clubs throwing 60 million at you. Shame really, had the world at his feet just went to the wrong club.

I've not looked at the stats but he seems to be anonymous in most games and not really impactful from what I've seen, hence why we're looking to sell (according to the rumours anyway).

It makes zero sense to sell now unless ETH categorically says he needs to go, which I doubt is the case. Problem with rumours, especially transfer rumours, is the vast majority end up being nothing more than just rumours.
