Newcastle don’t want to pay the 70-80 odd million for Barella. Liverpool are now favourites for signing him but they also don’t want to pay the high transfer fee.

Yeah just finding it all very amusing. His required price tag actually doesn’t seem all that bad to what he can bring.
Wonder if the PL would ask questions if we sell the “Irish Pirlo” Jeff Henrick to the Saudi league for 50milliom to help cover the cost.

Now that Kovacic is moving to City, I’m hoping that cools their interest a bit in Rice, not that I think he really wants to go there, but he might if he feels its his only option.

I think that actually happened to Forest back in 2011 when those nationwide riots kicked off. Trying to find the name, but I'm pretty sure a Dutch player flew over to sign, saw the city was in flames and turned back around.
