He's only worth what a club is willing to pay. Insane really but numbers of 70-100 mill seem to be getting more more frequent. He does have English tax though.
The city bid for Rice was always to damage Arsenal financially in driving the price up.
It's a decent signing, but not at that price imo. We need to be signing world class players, not good players. Rice is a good player.

True. Yeah. I agree actually. But then, I'd sign anyone "world class" for 100 million if it helped us win trophies it could only be classed as money well spent, even if short term.
