They needed to sell 150million worth of players.

Edit: think it’s more like 100m and I believe there might be a large amount they can write off due to covid? Sure baz can explain.

Hmm, read yesterday that we've been told even if the release clause expires his price wont be too dissimilar. Might be more beneficial to wait until it expires as we can pay the fee over a period of time as opposed to having to pay the full amount of the clause in one hit.

As did many other club's Leipzig purchases

TBH I know nothing of Sziobaszla

Gareth absolutely loved him at one point and his best season came under a decent manager with Tuchel. He even did okay under Lampard too. I guess ETH can see something in him from when he played in the Dutch league.

I'm not sure what your point is here? That hes crap or that hes had a crap season in an absolute mess of a Chelsea side. A Chelsea side that would have been seriously staring at relegation were it not for the work of Tuchel at the start of the season.
