no they can sign as long a contract as they want

its the transfer fee that can only be spread over a max of 5 years

ETH's signings have been pretty decent overall. Sabitzer, Eriksen, Casemiro, Antony, Martinez, Malacia, Weghorst....the latter being a stop-gap enforced by the Ronaldo drama and Martial being perma-crocked.

I've got no problems at all with his signings to date. Certainly a better hit rate than most other clubs last season.

I mean some of the reporting on BBC is just laughable. He's on a million a week. Are they offering to pay him 200k per week for the next 10 generations. He does need to accept he's going to have to take a huge payout to leave PSG but not Arsenal levels of plummeting to earth.
