Summer Transfer Window 23/24

I'm pretty sure that 350k wage includes all bonuses (as is standard when reporting United wages) which Sancho certainly hasn't hit.
Potentially... still feels like a stark example of the absolute bonkers decision making of the Woodward regime. Been appreciating Arnold and Murtoughs approach so far.

On Sancho - I'll be disappointed if ETH can't get a tune out of him as I think he's got great feet in the box. It'll be a bit of a shame if it doesn't work but he's getting plenty of opportunities and just doesn't seem to be making progress. If we can raise funds and free up a massive chunk of wages from then so be it.

His wages would be an issue if we tried to move him on but I don't think there would be any issue finding clubs that would love to have him.

True. Although like you say plenty of clubs would take him so I wonder if he'd rather try and ignite his career somewhere though if he knows he's only going to have a limited part to play. He's young and I'm sure he'd like to make a name for himself, play for England etc.

Sancho got 1 in 4 goals from only 26 apps last season in the Prem and a lot would have been sub appearances. He has also only recently just turned 23. I still think it is a bit too early to write him off.

Rashford has shown he has been able to come back from a similar dip in form so we will have to wait and judge next season. He is obviously very talented but he has to get his mind in the right place first.

I don't see it with him. Rashford has always had the propensity to be a match winner. He's win matches singlehandedly and scored the odd goal out of nothing. Sancho has never done that for United. If he was so good at Dortmund then maybe he should go back there. I'd be giving Amad games before him this season. Sometimes you have to know when to move a player on. I think EtH is ruthless enough to recognise this and presumably we'd get some money for him. Not £75m but enough to bolster another position.

Not sure I agree with that, the goals he scored this season were pretty important ones. His mentality is the issue for me, I just don't think he has the drive to succeed at United.

I think he thrives in a well functioning and well drilled team. United haven't been that for a long time and we still aren't at this stage. Fingers crossed that will start to change this coming season. Last year was chaotic for the most part. If we can get our transfer business wrapped up in the next few weeks and have a proper pre-season I think he could have a good year if EtH can get us working.

Just listen to Rice Rice baby by the man himself and Timber by Keisha. That should keep you busy until they are both announced.
You so know rice is gonna be made to stand on a chair at london colney and do rice rice baby as his initiation song infront of the lads :D

West Ham waiting on Arsenal's lawyers to seal Rice deal

West Ham are ready to sign the contracts for Declan Rice to become an Arsenal player.
They are waiting for the Gunners' lawyers to approve the final wording of the deal.
Once that is done, they will sign and Rice will complete his move to north London.

I totally get why people see Greenwood as a deeply unpleasant individual, but that audio recording alone does not prove a criminal act took place. Only the police know the full circumstances around it.

I'm really pleased we're getting him but there will no doubt be some dodgy moments!
I would rather have 3 dodgy (heart attack inducing) acts per game than 20 crappy distribution to the opposition players. Out of 3 dodgy acts, it may result in 1 goal to the opponents, distributing 20 perfectly timed passes to our own players may result in 5 goals for us. I have seen passes DVG did last season that, if landed right would have contributed to a possible goal, but no, it went to an opposition player.
