Summer Transfer Window 23/24

Rice won't bomb like Pogba. He's not a £100m player by any stretch but he'll improve Arsenal and won't be a total flop.
Nah he won't bomb, he's a steady Eddie. Not going to set the world alight but a consistent plodder. I'd rather have Carrick. It's a massively over inflated price but he won't get picked to pieces like a Maguire or a striker would because it's just he's a low risk footballer. The pressure won't be on him for the price, it will be on Arteta. If they aren't at least 2nd next year and challenging he's in a world of trouble.

Madness. Of course there will be expectations for an improvement on last year, but even if they finish 3rd or 4th there's no way he's "in a world of trouble". Under some pressure for sure, but no way are Arsenal giving him the boot this year unless the wheels fall off completely.

The spending that's been allowed with him at the lead, yes I expect he gets the sack if they don't win anything again. Sadly that's this modern game. You only have to look at manager turnover. If he's spent hundreds of millions and they fall further away, of course he's under enormous pressure.

Some Arsenal fans wanted him out when they won the FA cup...hes spent hundreds of millions since then. If he doesnt win anything then i can see him being in trouble for sure.

Arsenal are far and away the biggest spenders since arteta became manager, they have to start winning something sooner rather than later

He must be close to 500 million spend now? He has to either win the league or at least challenge and win a big comp. Quarter finals in the champions league a minimum.

^^

Spending that Maxi money already

Rumours really starting to spread that he's leaving now. Can see it happening should an adequate off come in.

West Ham have approached Man It'd over Maguire?

A Saudi account with 1.5million followers has just stated that they have opened up talks for Maxi.

100million for Maxi, and 60million for Jeff Hendricks will do nicely

I don’t understand why you’d sell
ASM? He’s much better than Barnes. I was watching the Newcastle City 3-3 game on repeat and he was ridiculous. He pretty much single handedly kept you up the season before.

He has no end product. Barnes scored more last season then ASM has in 4.
