Summer Transfer Window 26/27

Why do teams keep giving money to Chelsea for tat. So annoying.

How will Spurs get round FFP? They are already one of the top spenders in the last few years and have done terribly for the last 2 seasons.
They have massive revenue from the stadium etc and the switch to squad cost ratio rules and amortising the transfers gives them a load of head room.

He played over 2400 mins for them last season. He's behind two 100m+ midfielders in Caicedo and Fernandez.
I don't recall hearing his name at all over the last season, just double checked and 1255 minutes was in premier league so no idea how i missed him.

They are currently the top net spending team in the premier league over the last 5 years having done absolutely nothing. Does their stadium really make up for the deficit of no champs league football? Deloitte lists them quite a bit below Arsenal, United, Liverpool and City for revenue generated yet they are outspending them. Seems a little odd, everyone amortises their transfers so not sure that makes a difference.

This explains it quite well. Doesn't necessarily explain why other clubs can't do similar though - perhaps everyone else waiting for the WC to finish

Edit

I guess because they're not in Europe they don't have to worry about those rules?

My thoughts.. never heard of the guy lmao. 50m? Wtf

I guess cheaper than over 100m for Anderson.. good business potentially. Two midfielders for the price of one.
Two good ones though? Maybe the stats tell the story.

Doesn't bode well though imo.

Santos is a completely underwhelming signing, although I said that about Sesko (when he was linked with us and Newcastle)...

He doesn't strike me as having any particular strength when I've seen him play, just a complete meh signing. I thought we screwed Chelsea over when we sold them Garnacho.

He's 5ft9 so unless he's built like a tank we're going steamrolled
