Summer Transfer!

Ok, I have a couple of summer transfer rumours - from a very reliable source that told me Robbie Fowler would be joining Liverpool as early as last Wednesday.

Anton Ferdinand to Liverpool as Hyppia's long term replacement.

and

Chelsea to sign David Trezeguet.

Done deals apparantly.

New contracts mean nothing, other than the buy-out clause inserted within it.

It simply placates the player.

Baptista seems to be on his way out of Real Madrid for sure, he hasn't adapted to them at all well.

Would be interesting to see if they could get Gravesen as part of the deal, he would make a difference to the Arsenal midfield.

I'n not a Liverpool fan [thankfully...lol], but as an observer, I would say that before they can seriously mount a challenge on the Premiership, they need to sort out that strikeforce - Cisse £14m, Crouch £7.5m, Morientes £6.3m....10 Premiership goals between them this season...just not up to scratch
