Sumone help!

My Linksys router wirless is rubbish it is slow loading servers on CS and i get DC all the time on CnC

I have tried sorting ports but nothing... sum real help *** be much appresiated.

If u have msn or sumthing and *** help me with it at sumtime thankz

The problem is not the wirless connection this is wired . there is no interference

Modem>router (wrt54gs) > computer.

router just doesnt seem to like to let things through... and if it does its slow or D/C's it.

David: yeah ... yep .... yeah totally agree... yeah... so have a coke a smile and Shoosh.
I dnt rant lol was just ppl being blunt with there words... nvm. (plus that other problem aint mine - THIS ONE IS ! )

sorry yes i updated the firmware not so long ago to try and solve the problem... no joy =(

i only enable my wireless which is secure wen people come round with laptops other than that is just me on a wired connection to this computer.

I am tring to create a static ip now to try and port forward again.. taking it slow see if it will work.

EDIT: I have managed to sort a static IP and i have also port forwarded it correctly for CnC Zero Hour. But still wen online in a lobby or staging a game i lose connection... this is very frustrating.

A friend has the same router(on default) and does not have this problem... even wen i take my PC to his it works fine so is not the computer. we are also on the same ISP incase that was the problem (but diffrent modems?)
