I bought a Sumvision Cyclone Voyager 1 dual-core back in March/April. It worked perfectly until I dropped it, cracking the digitizer screen (The LCD display is undamaged). I tried since then to obtain a replacement without success. I wrote to Sumvision, and a man called Michael replied, telling me that spares would "hopefully" be available "in the future" from their distributors, and that they would be able to fit a new one for me. As a time-served electronics engineer, I have no need for anyone to fit the thing for me. Subsequent emails to him have not been replied to. I haven't heard of one of Sumvisions distributors doing spares either.
So, my personal opinion is that Sumvision make really good kit for the price, but it seems to be false economy if I now have a tablet which is unrepairable.
I would advise all potential purchasers of ANY tablet to first verify if there are spares available, and what happens if things go wrong.
